**About Us**:
QIDOT Café is a growing local brand offering a unique blend of Modern Malaysian cuisine in a European-inspired setting located in a traditional village environment. We’re committed to delivering high-quality food with a touch of creativity and consistency. We are looking for a professional **Sous Chef** to join our passionate kitchen team at our flagship outlet in Sijangkang.
**Responsibilities**:
- Lead daily kitchen operations and ensure food quality, taste, and consistency meet QIDOT standards.
- Supervise and manage kitchen team members, including task delegation and performance monitoring.
- Ensure proper execution of pre-cooked items and frozen goods prepared at Central Kitchen and reheated/presented at outlet level.
- Collaborate with the Head Chef and Management in menu planning, cost control, and kitchen innovation.
- Manage kitchen inventory, ordering, and stock rotation to minimize waste and control costs.
- Maintain hygiene and safety standards according to food industry regulations.
- Train and upskill junior kitchen staff to enhance efficiency and culinary skills.
- Coordinate with front-of-house team to ensure smooth service and food delivery.
- Uphold cleanliness, equipment maintenance, and organization in the kitchen environment.
**Requirements**:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in a kitchen leadership role (Sous Chef, CDP, or equivalent).
- Strong cooking skills and familiarity with local, fusion, and Western cuisines.
- Knowledge of pre-cooking and freezing techniques is an added advantage.
- Strong leadership, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Passionate about food quality, presentation, and continuous improvement.
- Able to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
