Agronomist

Key Responsibilities:

- Durian Plantation Management: Utilize your in-depth knowledge of durian cultivation to oversee all aspects of orchard management, including planting, maintenance, pest control and harvest.
- People Management: Efficiently manage and lead a team of workers, ensuring tasks are completed effectively and that team members are motivated, trained and aligned with company objectives.
- Continuous Improvement: Maintain a strong focus on self-improvement and stay updated with the latest agronomy practices, management techniques and technologies to enhance orchard productivity.
- Collaboration and Learning: Foster a culture of idea sharing, open communication and receptiveness to feedback. Collaborate with colleagues and management to drive innovation and efficiency.
- Company-Centric Approach: Keep the best interests of the company in mind when making decisions, planning strategies and implementing improvements in orchard management.
- Integrity and Hard Work: Demonstrate unwavering honesty, integrity and a strong work ethic. Take initiative and work diligently with mínimal supervision.
- Lead by Example: Serve as a role model for your team, leading by example through your dedication, professionalism and commitment to excellence.
- Equipment Care: Thorough knowledge of farm equipment and materials and ability to manage the use of materials and equipment efficiently and economically.
- Record and Report: Keep detailed records regarding workers' schedules, plantation operations, durian tree conditions and report findings regularly.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in Agronomy, Agriculture or a related field.
- Required at least 2 years of working experience and proven experience in durian plantation management
- Strong people management skills, with the ability to lead and motivate a team effectively
- Continuous learner with a commitment to ongoing self-improvement. Accept feedback and criticism.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Demonstrated integrity and a strong work ethic.
- Fluency in Malay & English language.
- Valid driver's license and the ability to drive.
