**REPORTS TO**:

- Chief Pharmacist

**RESPONSIBLE FOR**:

- The Pharmacy Assistant will be required to perform various tasks within the Pharmacy Services including dispensing, preparation of drugs, compounding, repacking and counseling of customers regarding drug delivery devices to ensure the safe and effective dispensation of medication to the provision of health care.

**QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED**:

- Diploma in Pharmacy

**PREFERRED**
- Able to communicate fluently and write in English language and Bahasa Malaysia
- Has good communication, counseling and interpersonal skills. Reliable, dependable, enthusiastic and self-motivated.
- Willing to train others, and demonstrate ability to work independently with minimum supervision as well as in a team.
- Ability to work flexibly and weekends and/ or public holiday. Contribute to team leadership where appropriate and ability to work on own initiative.
- Preferred experience in hospital setting is an advantage.
