Staff Nurse

As a Staff Nurse at Happy Medihome, you will play a crucial role in providing professional nursing care to patients/residents within our nursing home under the direction of the Manager/Director.

Your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

- Rendering professional nursing care in support of medical care as directed by the Manager/Director.
- Competency in various nursing procedures including medication administration, intravenous cannulation, Nasogastric tube & urinary catheterization, suction ,tracheostomy care, colostomy care & suction.
- wound inspection and dressing
- Commitment to providing evidence-based nursing care to ensure safe and effective patient care.
- Developing and performing tailored patient care/treatment/recovery plans in collaboration with the medical team.
- Conducting fall risk assessments, close observation, and activating emergency response teams as needed.
- Constantly updating patient progress by checking vital signs charts, intake/output charts, and other necessary records.
- Coordinating residence room activities with ancillary services such as maintenance, housekeeping, and dietary departments.
- Proficiently performing admission, transfer, and discharge procedures.

**Job Requirements**:

- Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Nursing.
- SRN registered with the Malaysian Nursing Board.
- Ability to practice standard infection control precautions.
- Analytical nursing skills to interpret changes in patient's condition.
- Good knowledge of written and spoken Chinese & English.
- Polite, attentive, loving, and caring in nature.
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Able to work on shift rotations.
- Applicants who possess own transport and are willing to commute between different centers are preferred.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
