We're searching for a junior content writer to work with design, product, research, and marketing to develop fantastic user experiences for both new and returning consumers across our omni-channel communications and platforms. As a full-time writer on our Marketing Lab team, you will have a major impact on the user experience as well as the development of our brand, voice, and content standards.
What You Will Be Doing
Your role will be to develop strategies using relevant communication channels to shape consumer behaviours. This will include:

- Content Plan & Calendar
- Develop an official, branded content strategy and conversation calendar.
- Social Media
- Use social channels like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, TikTok, etc. to convey amazing stories, and navigate channels’ differences to elevate the brand experience for target audience.
- Manage social media channels and community growth.
- Copy Writing & Content Writing
- Develop and conceptualise engaging creative copy direction for corporate and marketing campaigns.
- Write, edit, and oversee copy production (clear, consistent, and impactful) across all departments and channels. From website, blogs, EDMs, social media postings and taglines to scripts and large-scale campaigns, your copy will touch every part of brand(s) assets.
- Scriptwriting for video productions. Organise end-to-end and attend production shoots.
- Work on translation when necessary.
- Content Direction
- Work closely with our design team to reflect our evolving brand in our product where appropriate.
- Collaborate with creative, marketing, branding, product, and other teams to ensure that copy is considered from the beginning and that they are engaged through its development.
- Improve the writing capabilities of our teams with processes, practices, and education.
- Update self with industry-wide trends to create engaging and culturally relevant copy that inspires, engages, and sells.

- Make data-informed decisions around messaging to deliver experiences for different customer segments.
- Research and check on technical, legal and compliance aspects, requirements or considerations that may affect content development.
- Maintain and document evolving content, brand, and voice/tone standards. Collaborate with other departments to determine consistency in copy tone and style, ensuring that it complements accompanying artwork.
- Maintain high standards of copywriting and exercise quality control across all deliverables.
What Are We Looking For
- You speak English with authority and have excellent copywriting abilities. - You have a keen sense for writing and design best practises.
- You are interested in how things function and want to improve them.
- You have knowledge of dealing with and influencing stakeholders as well as the ability to develop copy in context.
- You have expertise incorporating research findings or client data into your work and/or have worked with user researchers.
- You are able to work well in a fast-paced, dynamic setting while juggling many priorities.
- If you've worked with design systems and handled content style guides, you have an advantage.

You will shine in this role if you are/have
- BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 2+ years of experience writing or editing content.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Effectively manage multiple projects and deadlines.
- Fluent in both English and Malaysian.
