Merchandise Planner

Our mission is to give the best price with quality". **Responsibilities**: - Develop and maintain Open To Buy (OTB) Plan - To plan merchandise strategic launch and promotions and determine on pricing strategy. - Sales forecasting, budget management and sales performance analysis reports. - Execute promotions strategy, seasonal changes and product launches. - To implement corrective measures for slow moving merchandise. - Identify and maximize sales of fast selling items by taking corrective actions. - To work closely with store operations team on stock levels, aged merchandise, - Identify problems and propose improvement plan. - Monitor and implement effective inventory control. - Prepare merchandising reports and forecasts to facilitate department purchasing objectives. - Analyse and prepare weekly/ periodic reports for management. - Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by Merchandising Manager. - Preferable those with household product knowledge will be added advantage. **Requirements**: - Degree or Diploma in Retail Management. - Effective planning and organisation skills. - Strong interpersonal skills, good judgments and is capable of communicating / negotiating with a diverse range of individuals. - A passion for whole selling & retailing concept and able to work in a fast pace multi-tasking environment. **Salary**: RM2,200.00 - RM2,800.00 per month **Benefits**: - Free parking - Opportunities for promotion Schedule: - Monday to Friday - Weekend jobs Supplemental Pay: - Overtime pay - Performance bonus COVID-19 considerations: masked Ability to commute/relocate: - Bangi: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required) **Education**: - Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred) **Experience**: - Merchandising: 1 year (preferred) - Retail management: 1 year (preferred) - wholesales: 1 year (preferred)
