**The Opportunity**

We are looking for an energetic, customer-focused **Retail Assistant** to join our Food & Beverage team. This is a crucial front-line role where you will manage sales, serve customers, and ensure the smooth daily operation of our retail counter/cafe floor.

**Key Responsibilities**
- **Customer Service**: Greet customers warmly, answer questions about menu items, and provide fast, friendly service.
- **Sales & Cash Handling**: Accurately process customer orders and payments using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system.
- **Food Preparation**: Assist with light food prep as directed.
- **Stock Management**: Monitor inventory levels, assist with receiving deliveries, and stock shelves/displays.
- **Cleanliness & Hygiene**: Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic counter, dining area, and workspace in compliance with health and safety standards.
- **Team Collaboration**: Communicate effectively with kitchen staff and management to ensure all orders are prepared and delivered correctly and promptly.

**What You'll Bring Required Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience (e.g., 6+ months) in a retail, café, restaurant, or customer service role is highly desirable.
- **Communication**: Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
- **Availability**: Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
- **Legally Authorized**: Must be legally authorized to work in Seberang Jaya, Pulau Pinang.

**Preferred Skills (Nice-to-Have)**:

- Familiarity with POS systems.
- A valid Food Handler's Certificate.
- Basic knowledge of food & beverages preparation.
