Qc Technologist

1. Conduct in-process quality control (IPQC) inspection at all manufacturing facilities: F1, F2, F3 and F4. 2. Monitor and ensure cleanliness at production floor, machineries, equipment and utensils. 3. Monitor worker’s hygiene & document the results on-timely manner. 4. Accurately document the results of the inspections on-timely manner. 5. Collect and send the samples to QC laboratory on-timely manner. 6. Responsible in reporting immediately to QC Executive/HOD any deviation or abnormalities detected in-process and daily monitioring process in manufacturing facilities 7. Assist in checking and updating QC Executive on maintenance and calibration for QC measuring instruments and gauges to ensure optimum functionality 8. Assist in the coordination of testing results involving finished products, raw materials, and packaging components and the appropriate release and hold programs associated with these materials. 9. Assist in checking and improving safety and quality control procedures within IPQC inspection 10. Share knowledge, skills and information with other personnel in the Quality Control Department and across functional areas. 11. Attend and participate in all appropriate QC Department meetings/discussion or response/feedback team on timely manner regarding work related task. 12. Assist in the implementation of policies, standard operating procedures, quality control programs which ensure proper testing, evaluation, inspection, and technical support in order to meet product quality standards, if required. 13. Perform all other duties maybe assigned to support continual improvement of Food Safety and Quality Management System i.e: undertaking short-term or long-term projects involving product quality improvement **Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements**: 1. Bachelor degree in Science or equivalent. 2. 1-2 year(s) of working experience in quality control and testing in any field is an added advantage. Fresh graduates also can apply. 3. Sufficient knowledge of inspection and monitoring processes. 4. Must be hardworking, trustworthy, meticulous, responsible and with good team-working skills. 5. Can work with minimum supervision. 6. Ability to work under pressure (in an extremely fast paced environment), meet deadlines (overtime work required) and make effective decisions. 7. Must have good command of English and Malay or additional languages (e.g.: Tamil) written and verbal communication 9. Good arithmetic skills are required 10. Punctuality, reliable and willing to work flexible hours. 11. Required to work safely, within the organization standard policies and procedures ie: Good Manufacturing Practice 12. Self-motivated to learn fast and ability to prioritize workloads and complete on-time. **Physical Demands**: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, and sit for extended periods of time.
