Purchasing / Admin Executive

**Job description**
**Responsibilities**:
- Communicate with vendors to obtain quotes and negotiate prices.
- To source, negotiate, close order with vendor and expedite delivery.
- Ensure purchase in competitive price and continuous bring the cost down with acceptable quality of good / service.
- Prepare and process purchase request / purchase orders accurately and on timely manner.
- Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and deliveries.
- Coordinate with suppliers to ensure timely delivery of goods and services.
- Verify received orders against specifications and handle discrepancies or issues.
- Assist in monitoring and controlling purchasing costs and budget allocation.
- Generate reports on purchasing activities and relevant metrics as required.
- Assist in maintaining office supplies, i.e., pantry items, minor repair and etc.
- Perform other duties as and when delegated, i.e. backup function, business process improvement initiatives, and ad-hoc projects.
**Education/ Requirement**:
- At least 2-3 years experience in purchasing / admin.
- Ability to work independently and be part of a team, with strong project management of detail oriented.
- Good analytical and problem solving skill.
- Soft spoken, high communication and Negotiating skill
- Confident, witty, and un-irritably persuasive
- Good organizational and time management skills.
