**Job Details**:
**Position**: Financial Analyst

**Company Industry**: Water & Petrochemical

**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday (0800 hour to 1700)

**Working Location**: Kuala Lumpur Sentral, 50470 Kuala Lumpur

**Working Duration**: 6 months contract with PERSOLKELLY (renewable basis)

**Remuneration**: Basic up to RM5,000 with statutory contribution + leave entitlement + insurance & medical coverage

**Requirements**:

- Degree in accounting or finance, is preferred.
- Fresh graduate in accounting/finance are welcome to apply.
- 3-5 years of relevant working experience in Accounting, Supply Chain or Project Accounting experience would be an added bonus.
- Strong & effective communication, teamwork and collaboration skills
- Able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
- Strong in MS Excel / PowerPoint / SAP, Tableau

**Responsibilities**:

- Lead and prepare of the business unit's Business performance Plan, budget and forecast
- Identify risks and opportunities and propose the appropriate actions.
- Lead and produce the monthly, quarterly and annual management reports of the business unit, Global reports and ah hoc requests within set datelines.
- Monitor, follow-up and provide regular updates on the business unit's financial position and recommend improvement measures in case of deviations and potentials, working closely with the different functions within the business units.
- Optimize the costs and efficacy of actions undertaken Able to balance between commercial viewpoint vs financial profitability in analysing levers for optimization.
- Provide relevant and user-friendly business performance information, secure correct and clear communication of Orders and Sales figures, analysing trends or deviations where insight is needed.
- Supporting the Sales/Commercial team in converting performance insight into actions towards maximising business opportunities in the most efficient and effective way i.e. gross profit steering, gaps vs sales plan and recommending actions to correct underperformance,
- Drive automation, simplification of reports and processes of the business unit.
