2d Animator

**Responsibilities**:

- Work closely with the Digital Content Editor to create animations and promotional videos.
- Ensure all assigned projects are completed on time.
- Conduct online research to stay updated on the latest animation trends and maintain animation quality.
- Contribute creative ideas for producing animations and videos.
- Edit images and prepare them for animation by cutting them into segments.
- Produce animations and videos based on provided storyboards.
- Create promotional videos using the storyboard as a guide.
- Find suitable background music and sound effects for animations and videos.
- Edit and sync background music and sound effects to fit the animation.
- Insert music, sound effects, and voiceovers into animations and synchronize them properly.
- Redraw images or characters if the provided content is of low quality.
- Edit videos according to project requirements.
- Export animations and videos into the required file formats.
- Add subtitles to animations.
- Design materials such as app logos, brochures, leaflets, CD-ROM interfaces, and CD labels.
- Export design files in the correct format for printing.
- Burn master CDs, CD-ROMs, VCDs, or DVDs for replication.
- Create 3D models and animations.
- Make revisions to animations as instructed by the supervisor or editor-in-charge.
- Back up completed work.
- Perform other related tasks and ad hoc duties as assigned by the supervisor.

**Job Requirements**:

- Applicants must possess Degree in Computer Sciences / IT qualification or equivalent
- Applicants with at least 2-3 years experience in similar industry will be an added advantage.
- Applicants must be proficient in English and Bahasa.
- Selected applicants will work in Penerbitan Pelangi, Wisma Pelangi, Bangi.
- Working hours: Full-time in office, Monday - Friday, 8.00AM to 5.30PM.

Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
