Game Programmer

We're currently working on a Top-down pixel art Tactical RPG and are looking for a talented developer to join us. Work together with the team to implement core game functionality, translating design ideas, concepts, and requirements into a functional and engaging game.

As a large part of the team is located across the world, we mainly use _Work From Home_ as a standard, with weekly meetings to make sure that everyone is well-coordinated.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Design and develop game software with a high standard of code quality, stability, maintainability, readability, and performance.
- Collaborate with a team of artists, and designers to build asset pipelines, workflow processes, and per-project development tools that are stable, elegant, and efficient.
- Responsible for programming, prototyping, architecture design, game asset integration, debugging, documenting and supporting the game development process.
- Quickly create and iterate on prototypes showcasing new designs and interaction patterns.

**Skills and Qualifications**
- 2-5 years experience with Unity 3D
- Strong C# object-oriented programming and scripting language skills
- Experience working with game assets (meshes, animations, materials etc)
- Experience profiling and optimizing game and render performance (GPU and CPU)

**There will be a quick aptitude test as well.**
