TPG Oil & Gas Sdn. Bhd. is a trusted name in the oil and gas industry, committed to excellence in quality, safety, and environmental compliance. **We are growing and adding the position of Lab Technician to our team** to support both wastewater monitoring and product quality control.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Conduct daily laboratory testing of wastewater samples from the IETS plant, including **COD, pH, Suspended Solids, Settleable Solids (SV), MLSS, and MLVSS**, ensuring compliance with DOE standards.
- Perform routine testing for **storage tanks, receiving materials, and dispatch samples** to verify product quality against specifications.
- Carry out sampling at designated points (wastewater and product tanks) in accordance with SOPs.
- Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments (e.g., COD reactor, pH meter, DO meter, titrators).
- Record, compile, and maintain accurate laboratory data and test reports.
- Assist in troubleshooting, process monitoring, and quality investigations.
- Ensure laboratory safety, good housekeeping, and compliance with HSE policies.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma / Degree in Chemistry, Environmental Science, Chemical Engineering, or related field.
- At least 1-2 year of laboratory experience in **wastewater testing or QC laboratory work** (fresh graduates with relevant internship experience are encouraged to apply).
- Knowledge of environmental testing methods (APHA, DOE guidelines) and product QC testing is an advantage.
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
