Chartered Accountant

**Financial Information**

1. Oversee the issuance of financial reporting, accounting, preparation of the consolidated financial statements including tax

2. Personally review and approve financial filiings with regulators and authorities

3. Report financial results to the Chief Financial Officer

**Operations**

1. Manage the accounting and finance departments

2. Implement operational best practices

3. Improving Efficiencies and reducing costs across the business

4. Assures timely responses to internal and external audit recommendations

5. Assures that corrective action plans are developed and implemented where needed

6. Present financial reporting and potential risk areas to senior management

**Risk Management**

1. Monitor legal issues involving the company

2. Maintain appropriate insurance coverage

3. Ensure that the company complies with all legal and regulatory requirements

4. Ensure that record keeping meets the requirements of auditors and regulators

5. Report risk issues to the board of directors

6. Maintain relations with external auditors and investigate their findings and recommendations

**Requirements**:

- Possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree, Professional Accounting & Finance Degree. MBA and professional accounting qualifications would be an advantage
- Have at least 5-8 years of working experience
- Chartered Accountant and/or registered with MIA would be an advantage
- Experienced in handling a full set of accounts, including knowledge of internal controls, management and financial reporting
- Fluent in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin
- Keen to grow with a growing organization and lead a team
