Manufacturing Cost Analyst

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Responsible for the inventory master file, part creation and ongoing updates to this system.
- Manage the systems average costs, manufacturing variances and gross margin analysis
- Review costings and evaluate material requirements of the Bill of Materials and production work orders.
- Prepare, update and complete factory work orders and perform cost analysis on manufactured products.
- Assist with implementing cost accounting procedures and policies.
- Review and prepare product costings and pricing for new and existing products.
- Prepare and review the factory overhead recovery rates on an annual basis.
- To assist in the preparation and forecasting of the annual budgets.
- Review the landed cost calculations on all imported materials and products.
- Develop monthly reporting for gross profit margins, inventory reporting and sales analysis.
- Demonstrate expert knowledge of processes and related systems to effectively perform responsibilities.
- Manage annual stocktakes and cycle counting requirements.
- Responsible for month end and year end closing process and requirements of the inventory system.
- Ensure compliance to company policies, procedures, and statutory requirements.
- To be responsible for other tasks assigned from time to time by Senior Management.
**; Requirements: - REQUIREMENTS**:
- Minimum of 3 years working experience in a manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
- Strong analytical skills, numeracy, and good financial understanding.
- Knowledge of transfer pricing documentation and requirements of related party transactions.
- Possess a strong sense of responsibility, urgency, and commitment to efficiently meeting deadlines.
- Be familiar with the ISO: 9001 2015 Quality Management Standards.
- Proficient in written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Confident, self-motivated with initiative, positive working attitude, able to work independently.
- Good communication skills, well organised, reliable, punctual and well presented.
- Team Player, fast learner with a willingness to learn and meet tight deadlines with minimum supervision
