R&d Manager

Job Descriptions:

- Assist in the **development of new beverage products** from concept to commercialization.
- **Improve existing products** by enhancing flavors, nutritional profiles, and shelf life.
- Conduct market research to **identify trends and consumer preferences** to guide product development.
- Manage multiple R&D projects simultaneously, ensuring they are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, production, and quality assurance, to ensure alignment and successful project execution.
- **Supervise and mentor R&D team members**, providing guidance and support in their professional development.
- Conduct research on **new ingredients, technologies, and processes**to drive innovation in beverage manufacturing.
- Ensure that all new and existing products comply with relevant food safety, quality, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) for product development and testing.
- Conduct sensory evaluations to assess the taste, aroma, and overall quality of new and existing products.
- Maintain detailed records of all R&D activities, including formulations, test results, and project reports.
- Work closely with the marketing team to develop product concepts and packaging ideas that align with brand strategy.
- **Collaborate with the production team** to scale up new formulations and ensure smooth transitions to manufacturing.
- Communicate effectively with external partners, such as suppliers and research institutions, to support R&D activities.
- **Monitor and control R&D expenses**, ensuring that projects stay within budget.
- Identify cost-saving opportunities in product formulations and processes without compromising quality.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in Food Science, Food Technology, Chemistry, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in R&D roles.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a managerial position, capable of leading a team.
- Strong knowledge of beverage formulation and processing technologies.
- Proven experience in cost analysis and managing R&D budgets.

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month

Schedule:

- Monday to Friday
