Material Planner Specialist

**Job Description:

**Material Planning & Forecasting**
- Monitor supply levels and forecast demand to ensure sufficient stock availability
- Develop accurate material forecasts based on production schedules, sales demand, and inventory levels.
- Plan and schedule materials for both manufacturing and distribution
- Utilize SAP - MRP to maintain planning accuracy.
- Plan materials by considering factors such as lead time, consumption history, and buffers stock
**Inventory Management**
- Maintain optimal safety stock levels for high demand & active materials
- Track inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize excess stock and carrying stocks
- Supports on the inventory analysis by reviewing inventory policies, tracking and managing slow movers & limited shelf life
**Coordination & Analysis**
- Work closely with Production, Warehouse, Purchasing and Logistics team to ensure smooth processes and optimize workflows
- Utilize historical sales data and demand forecast to predict production needs, collaborating with the BD teams for demand planning
- Identify potential risks and propose mitigation strategies
- Address issue related to production delays, material shortages or shifts in demand while ensuring operational efficiency,
- Track material usage, inventory turnover, forecast accuracy and supplier performance to drive efficiency
**Job Requirement:
- **
- Minimum Diploma or equivalent in Supply chain Management, Business Administration, or related field.
- At least 2-3years experience in material planning, supply chain roles, preferably in a distribution and manufacturing environment
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP B1 preferred), Microsoft Excel, and data analysis tools.
- Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities, excellent communication, attention to details and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
