**VIDEO EDITOR (Remote)**

The role of the **Video Editor** is to edit and produce videos for marketing purposes. This role is expected to creatively utilize digital softwares to organize video and sound files, making it cohesive and appealing.

This person is required to possess both technical and creative abilities to be able to effectively execute the vision clients have in mind. The Video Editor is expected to have experience working with creative softwares and have a keen eye for creative digital design that sells.

Ultimately, you are ideally someone who can perfectly translate an idea into a beautifully crafted film or video piece.

**Outcomes and Accountabilities**:

- Meeting with the clients to establish the desired feel and look of the videos to be created and to grasp the production team’s needs and specifications
- Establishing a clear understanding of the storyline and purpose of video creation
- Creating an initial proposed storyboard draft of the video to present to clients and receive approval before beginning to digitally alter video
- Capturing studio quality photos and video footages
- Reviewing and collating all footage, adding sounds effects and graphics, and fine-tuning the completed video
- Consulting with the Creative Director in ensuring correct formatting and presentation for finalized videos according to client’s requirements
- Organizing and managing all audio and video assets to ensure a smooth workflow

**Qualifications**:

- A Bachelor’s Degree in Multimedia Arts or equivalent
- At least 2 years of relevant work experience (_video editor_ or _videographer_)
- Possesses a sound knowledge of professional lighting and photography equipment
- Mastery of video and audio editing software and programs (_Adobe Premiere Pro, Knowledge of After Effects_)
- Creative experience in filmmaking and videography geared towards marketing
- Extensive experience in creating short videos for Facebook Ads and other Social Media marketing platforms
- Ability to understand the desired outcome of a project when meeting with clients and the ability to bring them to life
- Proficient in creating concept boards and other visual representations of planned edits for video projects
- Ability to collaborate well with other creative professionals to supply clients with top-notch finalized products
- Must be organized with high attention to detail
- Can deliver high-quality work while meeting tight deadlines
