**Position Overview**

The Technician will be responsible for daily facility and equipment checks, minor repairs, machine servicing, and assisting with electrical troubleshooting. This role supports smooth plant operations, ensures equipment efficiency, and upholds safety and maintenance standards.

This strengthens PrimaBaguz’s halal retail portfolio, expanding its Southeast Asian market reach following its 2020 acquisition by global meat company Johnsonville.

**Responsibilities**
- Perform daily utility system checks (air compressor, AHU, water tanks, ammonia plant, etc.).
- Monitor and record LV and power factor readings.
- Conduct routine maintenance on the hot water system and cooling tower.
- Carry out general handyman tasks (e.g., door repairs, toilet flushing, minor blockages).
- Support production team with basic facility-related needs.
- Act as machine keeper — perform minor service and checklist reviews.
- Learn and assist with machine troubleshooting and support external technicians.
- Assist chargeman in electrical tasks (e.g., capacitor/light/fan replacements).
- Maintain cleanliness of utility rooms (LV, HT, server room, genset, ammonia plant).
- Learn fire system operations and perform other duties as assigned.

**Requirements/ Experiences**
- Certificate/ Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or equivalents.
- At least 1-3 years’ working experience in maintenance of manufacturing industries.
- Knowledge of electrical is an added advantage.

**Knowledge And Skills**
- Understand electrical, plumbing, and carpentry.
- Knowledge of GMP and Food Safety.
- Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.
- Ability to perform electrical and mechanical jobs.
- Good sense to create a safe working area.
- Ability to mix well and establish good relations at all levels.
- Ability to find a solution for or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
- Ability to execute preventive maintenance according to schedule.
