Enthusiastic people who are completely in their element here at Oleon are more than welcome to join our team.- We are looking for QC Lab Technician (Chemist) to further strengthen our Quality department. - As a QC Lab Technician (Chemist), you will need to be a key person in daily laboratory analyses, equipment performance, and documentation while ensuring accurate results, compliance, and proper stock management. The role also supports method validation, equipment calibration, safety investigations, corporate analytical projects, training of technicians, and preparation of monthly reports. Some of your main duties & responsibilities: - To monitor daily LIMS and SharePoint approvals for analyses performed by the QC Instrument team - To Track daily performance of key equipment - You need to ensure the team follows correct setups for critical analyses - You need to verify daily results generated by the QC Instrument team - You serve as backup for Quality Team Lead 2 during their absence - You are required to issue PR and perform MIGO for QC operation-related items - To maintain SDS and COA documents for received chemicals, reagents, standards and CRMs - To prepare SIS documentation for the QC Lab - To update QC checks for selected contaminant analyses - You need to maintain weekly and monthly internal PM records for critical equipment - You need to record monthly consumption of chemicals and consumables - To lead to ensure all chemicals and consumables are well maintained in terms of the stock level - To lead in any safety-related RCA - To execute Corporate Project - analytical method and new equipment setup - You are required to participate in method validation, include identification on LOQ - You are required to participate in proficiency test and ensure result meeting z-score - To handle calibration for key equipment - You are the key trainer for the QC Lab Technician - You are required to prepare monthly report- - You'll succeed if: - You have possess at least Bachelors Degree in Chemistry or Oleochemistry equivalent - You have experience in QC Laboratory at least 3 - 5 year(s), preferable Oil & Fat or Oleochemical industry - You have experience & Knowledge in troubleshooting with equipment - You have knowledge in ISO 17025, GLP, GMP, ISO 9001 will be added value - You have knowledge in software - LIMS, SAP, ppt. - You have basic computer skills - Microsoft Word & Excel - You have strong attention to details - You have the ability to work independently and as part of a team - You are good in presentation skill and communication - You are willing to travel to Pulau Indah, Port Klang- **_ Next to your skills, it is your drive and motivation that will make all the difference _** - **Your benefits**: - You will join a company with ambitious goals and a welcoming atmosphere.
