Quality Control Specialist

We are seeking a reliable and meticulous Quality Control (QC) Specialist to join our team. The QC Specialist will be responsible for ensuring that all merchandise products, including packaging, promotional materials, and merchandise-related products, meet the company's high standards of quality, safety, and compliance. This role involves inspecting merchandise, managing quality testing processes, and collaborating with other departments to maintain the highest standards throughout the production and delivery stages.

**Job Descriptions: -**
- Inspect merchandise products, packaging, and promotional items to ensure they meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards.
- Develop, implement, and document quality control procedures for merchandise products, ensuring consistency and compliance with industry regulations.
- Perform product testing, including checks on materials, packaging, and durability, and ensure that all tests are conducted per the specified requirements.
- Identify defects or discrepancies in merchandise and packaging and report issues promptly to the appropriate teams.
- Maintain detailed records of product inspections, including test results, non-conformance reports, and corrective actions taken.
- Collaborate with suppliers and internal teams to ensure that all merchandise products adhere to the established quality guidelines and customer specifications.
- Conduct root cause analysis on any quality issues identified and help drive corrective actions to improve future product quality.
- Provide feedback to the production and design teams to ensure the continued improvement of product quality and standards.
- Ensure all merchandise products meet packaging, labeling, and regulatory requirements for the F&B industry.
- Assist in organizing and executing regular internal audits to ensure compliance with quality management systems and standards.
- Maintain testing equipment and tools in proper working order and ensure they are calibrated as needed.
- Stay informed on industry trends, new regulations, and best practices to continuously improve quality control processes.

**Work Requirements: -**
- Bachelor's degree in Food Science, Business, Quality Management, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in quality control or quality assurance in the F&B industry, with specific focus on merchandise and packaging products.
- Strong knowledge of quality control processes, industry standards, and regulations (e.g., FDA, HACCP, ISO).
- Familiarity with merchandise-related quality standards such as packaging, labeling, and shelf-life testing.
- Ability to work with testing tools, materials, and laboratory equipment.
- Excellent attention to detail and a strong ability to identify and resolve quality issues effectively.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office and other QC-related software for documentation and reporting.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and provide clear feedback.
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
