**ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Organizes and performs engineering and maintenance activities related to the installation, modification, troubleshooting, repairs, calibration, and maintenance of equipment to ensure that they are safe, efficient, reliable, and meet GMP/regulatory/production requirements.
- Prepare maintenance work plan for all plants and equipment installation and commissioning and monitor progress and performance against the project plan, identify and resolve operational problems and minimize delays.
- Develop, prioritize, and submit project plans, budgets and methodologies of projects and evaluate changes that significantly impact the scope, budget, or timeline of a project.
- Support production in equipment maintenance, process, quality, and productivity improvement and provide technical aid for adjustment of processing equipment and new equipment.
- Develop and implement maintenance plans to minimize and eliminate interruption to manufacturing that lead to production loss.
- Developing, motivating, and training of his/her maintenance/engineering teams and building talent capability of his/her team members to provide responsive and cost-effective services.
- Plan and prioritize tasks and assign team members to ensure that the team’s overall resources are used effectively and that project deadline are met.
- Manage the maintenance of all equipment/machinery to ensure good equipment reliability and efficiency include MHE such as forklift.
- Perform scheduled preventive maintenance for all equipment/machineries in a timely manner.
- To respond and attend to all breakdown of equipment/facilities promptly and efficiently.
- To identify the causes of breakdown of the machines/equipment and to include it in the schedule for preventive maintenance to ensure that no repetition.
- To maintain record of all incidents of breakdown and maintenance of machineries/equipment to monitor performance and facilitate future trouble shooting /reference.
- Overseeing and manage all out-source facilities/equipment contract maintenance and supplier/contractor.
- To supervise and ensure all electrical installations are compliance to the regulation set by Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Conducting periodic inspection and monitoring the electrical equipment including switchgear, transformer, LV MSB, etc.
- Willing to travel.
- To perform any other duty assigned to meet the department and company goals and objectives.

**REQUIREMENTS**:

- Must possess min a PJ6 Professional Certificate/certified BO Electrical Chargeman from the Suruhanjaya Tenaga.
- Diploma/Degree in any Engineering discipline/Electrical and Electronic/Mechatronic/ Facilities Management or its equivalent.
- Minimum 5 years related working experience.
- Team player, mature, resourceful and tactful.
- Good leadership with positive attitude, self-motivated and interpersonal skills.
- Good knowledge of FSSC, ISO, HACCP, HALAL and GMP procedure.
- Computer literate.
- Willing to travel.
