**Responsibilities**:1. Full-Spectrum Plant Operations Management
- Assist the Malaysia Managing Director in overseeing all aspects of factory operations, including Production, HR, Finance, Procurement, Quality Control, and Warehousing.
- Ensure efficient cross-functional collaboration across departments and take full charge of daily operations during the Director’s business trips or absence.
- Supervise production plan execution, maintain smooth manufacturing processes, and proactively resolve technical, material, or manpower-related issues to achieve production targets.
2. Cross-Department and Cross-Cultural Coordination
- Act as the communication bridge between China headquarters and the Malaysian team to align factory updates, resolve issues, and manage resource needs.
- Manage and reconcile differences in working styles between Chinese and Malaysian employees (e.g., pace, management style).
- Continuously improve collaboration mechanisms to enhance team cohesion.
3. Team Management & Capability Building
- Lead HR-related matters including recruitment, training, performance management, and staff development.
- Implement a performance-driven culture through structured incentives and talent optimization to retain key personnel.
- Enforce employee discipline and address issues such as negativity or lack of accountability to build a positive, high-performance culture.
4. Process Optimization & Risk Management
- Streamline operational processes such as warehouse system controls and fixed asset tagging.
- Drive both short-term solutions (e.g., system adaptation) and long-term improvements (e.g., system upgrades) to minimize operational risks.
- Monitor plant financials including local account cash flow and customer payment progress; coordinate procurement and supply chain to prevent material shortages or financial bottlenecks.
5. Goal Execution & Reporting
- Support the formulation and execution of quarterly OKRs (Objectives and Key Results).
- Provide regular updates to the Managing Director on plant performance, key challenges, and improvement initiatives.
- Ensure strategic goals are effectively implemented and aligned with the overall business direction.
**Job Requirements**
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience in end-to-end plant operations management.
- Experience in multinational corporations and/or Chinese-owned enterprises in Southeast Asia is highly preferred.
- Strong leadership in production planning, cost control, team supervision, and cross-department coordination.
- Familiarity with Malaysian labour laws, industrial relations, tax compliance, and relevant manufacturing regulations.
- Bilingual proficiency in **Mandarin and English** (Bahasa Malaysia is an added advantage).
- Proven ability to bridge cultural differences and foster strong team collaboration.
- High level of responsibility, self-discipline, and resilience under pressure.
- Willingness to adopt flexible working hours and travel on short notice when required.
- Results-driven, problem-solving mindset with the ability to promote a positive and productive work environment.
Pay: RM20,000.00 - RM40,000.00 per month
