**Job description: NO EXPERIENCE NEEDED WE WILL TRAIN YOU**

**Responsibilities**:

- Answer calls in a professional manner.
- Customer service Skills.
- Be always prepared to take notes during a call.
- Be aware of the specific vocabulary of the industry the interpreter works with (healthcare and medical one, specifically).
- Participate in a in-house professional training.
- Communicate and report to your team leader.
- Provide accurate and impartial interpretation services during medical consultations, medical terminology, procedures, instructions, information between Cambodian -speaking patients and English-speaking healthcare professionals and other healthcare interactions.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards in all patient interactions
- Participate in workshops and coaching opportunities to enhance your interpreting skills

**Qualifications**:

- Proficiency/Bilingual/Native level of English and target language (Cambodian).
- Speak Cambodian as your mother or main language
- Speak English in a C1 or higher level.
- High school or equivalent diploma.
- Strong emotional intelligence and a deep respect for diverse cultures.
- High level of communication, listening, note-taking, and memory retention skills.
- Fluency in both Cambodian and English, with the ability to interpret between the two languages seamlessly.
- Strong ethical principles and a commitment to patient-centered care.
- Taking a Language, Terminology testing **(This is done after the training)**:

- background check is required.

**Requirements**:Since this position is fully remote, you should comply with several technical requirements for your computer. We need to ensure that your home office will work effectively.
