Job Title: Freelance / Part-time Data Center Operators or IT Engineers Work Location: Malaysia (Cyberjaya) Job Type: Daily basis from 1600 to 2000Hrs (Including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays) Salary: RM20.00 to RM30.00 per hour depending on working experience (Malaysia residents only) About the Job: We are looking for two (2) Data Center Operators to perform the tape-related operation on daily basis on a rotating schedule from 1600 to 2000 Hrs (including Saturdays, Sundays, and Public Holidays) at our client data center in Cyberjaya. All selected personnel will be briefed on the job duties prior to the start of your assignment. Responsibilities: '¢ Manages tapes storage and movement. '¢ Performs routine tasks on tapes registration, movement, storage, and disposal. '¢ Handles and prepares tapes to be sent offsite according to the standard procedures. '¢ Perform scheduled tasks and ensure completeness and timeliness. Follow strictly all requirements of the daily tape handling activities. '¢ Ensure proper reports distribution. Requirements: o At least 6 months of data center experience. o To Perform tape library duties, ensure tapes and media are handled in the most efficient manner. o Familiar with Mainframe systems. o Ability to prioritize work and maintain levels of service. o A keen and fast learner with a good working attitude and initiative. o Minimum commitment of 12 months' engagement.
