1. Interviewing, selection and hiring new drivers with HR Department PIC

2. Training new and existing drivers

3. Planning, assigning and directing customer’s orders

4. Addressing driver’s performance and corrective action plans

5. Responsible in planning and monitoring to ensure timely departure and arrival of deliveries

6. Assists & support the smooth running of the day-to-day operations

7. Assists in providing regular update on any changes to route/trip schedules or upcoming route/trip

8. S/O preparation on transport management system (TMS) after planning

9. Assist & support on fleet management and fleet maintenance

10. Responsible in all reports and records requested by the management

11. To coordinate with inter-department, sub-contract transporters on delivery arrangement to meet tight delivery schedule

12. Responsible for ensuring that all trucks are adequately provided with provision

13. Reports to management to alert them of any issues with delivering or receiving

14. Support Halal Audit, when required

16. 24/7 standby On-Call inclusive of public holidays

17. As backup driver, when required (*different wages scheme)

18. To perform any other task and assignments as directed by the Management from time to time

Job Requirements

3. Independently on problem solving and decision making.

4. Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask.

5. Possess license GDL D will be an added advantage

6. At least 1-3 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position
