Dental chairside assistants support dental practitioners in clinical treatments, as preparation and helping in practical execution and follow-up, and administrative tasks under supervision and following the orders of the dental practitioner.
DENTAL CLINIC 1. Provide dental treatment to the patient Department : Nursing Job : Dental Nurse DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY Daily - Set-up dental chair, instruments & computer - Assist. Doctor - Take X- rays for new patient & photograph - Clean instruments room call in the next patient - End of the clean room, instruments, x-rays room Weekly - Every Thursday request stock - Check Stock Department : Front Desk Job : Receptionist DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITY - Print appointment schedule (Next day), take out the treatment cards - Cop the date, treatment cards, fill in to drawer by alphabet - Receive phone call and fix appointment - Issue official receipt to patient when they make the payment (cash, Credit card & cheque) - Type letter when necessary - Update patient data, key
- in receive payment MYOB - Count the quantity and total amount sale on the day - toothbrush (counter) - Missed appointment cards on the day - Back
- up data (Main Computer) - Switch
- on all the lighting, water and all the plugs - Check all appointment cards “ Daily Schedule” - Receive phone call and give appointment - Call patient in missed appointment - Take treatment card and module for fix appliance, for tracing - Back
