The Fuels Demand Planner & Inventory Management Specialist is responsible for supporting demand planning and inventory management for Asia Pacific - SRC distributive area for Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia. The role will work closely with the Sales and Natural Work Team (NWT) to plan demand, routinely use demand forecasting, sales and operations planning processes (S&OP) to develop a consensus forecast supporting the monthly planning process. Gathers data to support assessment of process capability and monitor performance key performance indicators to ensure optimal operation of processes and make recommendations to improve performance. Responsibilities for this position may include - Timely submission of validated and aligned regional demand forecasts. Working knowledge of regional drivers impacting demand forecasting. Lookback analysis and reporting of opportunities & learnings.

Responsibilities for the position include, but are not limited to:
- Responsible for supporting Fuels Demand Planning and Inventory Management to support the SRC distributive area for Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia.- Accountable for developing the fuels product demand forecast and inventory management for Retail, C&I, Aviation and Bulk Sales customers. Drive the cross-functional demand forecasting process by working collaboratively on inputs with District Sales Managers, Business Consultants, and Pricing. Conduct demand analysis and ensuring pricing strategy is adequately incorporated into the forecast. Finalize the rolling 4 months demand forecast through area operating plan process- Compiles analysis for weekly updates on demand variations ensuring key business units are updated and key changes are actioned, also evaluates inventory deviations from plan, recommends corrective actions to cross functional teams, and reports results.- Lead the demand forecasting learning lookback process with the sales organization and analysis to review forecast performance metrics, inventory performance including 3 months forward inventory forecast vs target and actions to be taken to improve forward inventory level & demand forecasting process- Manage inventory targets and driving opportunities to economically reduce working capital. Drive accountability and action to help close discrepancies or react in most economical way for the enterprise to minimize costs associated with managing volumes above or below forecast.- Serve role as core team member on distributive area Natural Work Team and drive optimization.- Support regional inventory reduction initiatives to drive inventory optimization across international organization and execution internally- Support VCO organizational capability improvements across Malaysia, Singapore and Cambodia by implementing best practice standardized tools and work processes
Required Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role- 7+ years of experience in commercial negotiation, sales or supply chain optimization preferred.- Strong business acumen as well as analytical capabilities- Effective verbal and written communicator and able to quickly build relationships with various stakeholders and teams.- Business knowledge to forecast for all products (retail, C&I, and aviation)- Understanding of COT dynamics, pricing impacts, market growth projections, demand shifts related to price arbitrage, etc.- Proven ability to identify and quickly address issues and quickly involve the right people to address- Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders- Highly proficient at all Microsoft Office tools; especially Excel, PowerPoint- SAP experience is preferred qualification- Experience with Kinaxis Rapid Response is advantageous
