- To carry duties for all ultrasound investigations and to coordinate on the scheduling and preparation of patients.
- To provide accurate information and preparation guidelines to patients before their appointed ultrasound procedure.
- To ensure that the Ultrasound procedure rooms are clean and tidy.
- To ensure that ultrasound equipment are operated correctly and maintained in good.
- To order adequate consumable stocks of all ultrasonography items that required for use by the Department,
- To lead departmental quality improvement activities and to collate and analyze related performance indicator data on Radiology services.
- To orientate, train and supervise all junior new sonographers.
