Job Description - Japanese Restaurant Service Crew

**Job Summary**

The service crew will be responsible for ensuring that customers have an enjoyable dining experience by providing excellent service, preparing and presenting high-quality Japanese cuisine, and maintaining a clean and organized restaurant environment.

**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Greet and welcome customers, take orders, and provide menu recommendations
- Prepare and serve Japanese cuisine, including sushi, sashimi, and other traditional dishes
- Ensure food quality and presentation are consistent with restaurant standards
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels, order supplies and ingredients as needed
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures to maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown, including cleaning and resetting tables, chairs, and dining areas
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as fryers, ovens, and grills
- Provide excellent customer service by anticipating customer needs and responding to their requests and inquiries promptly and professionally
- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure a smooth and efficient restaurant operation
- Participate in staff training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture

**Restaurant Operations**:

- Assist with restaurant setup and breakdown, including cleaning and resetting tables, chairs, and dining areas
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, such as fryers, and grills
- Prepare mis-en-place and ensure that ingredients and tools are organized and readily available
- Assist with receiving and storing deliveries
- Monitor and maintain the cleanliness of the restaurant and kitchen, including sweeping and mopping floors, washing dishes, and cleaning equipment
- Ensure compliance with restaurant policies, procedures, and health and safety regulations

**Teamwork and Communication**:

- Communicate effectively with coworkers and management to ensure a smooth and efficient restaurant operation
- Work collaboratively with other kitchen and restaurant staff to ensure customer orders are prepared and served promptly and accurately
- Participate in staff training and development programs to improve skills and knowledge of Japanese cuisine and culture
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude and work ethic, and contribute to a positive team environment

**Other duties as assigned**:

- Assist with special events and catering functions as required
- Perform other duties as assigned by the management team to support the restaurant operation

**Salary**: RM1,800.00 - RM2,200.00 per month

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Fixed shift

**Experience**:

- Service Crew: 1 year (preferred)

- Bandar Puteri Puchong (required)

Ability to Relocate:
