Warehouse Assistant

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist in overseeing the day-to-day operational activities of the warehouse such as receiving, storage, packing, issuing to production, and scheduling deliveries.
- Assist to review current practices across the warehouse operations team by applicable Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
- Responsible for ensuring the warehouse facilities are well maintained & reviewed from time to time.
- Ensure that all operations at the warehouse are compliant with safety, environmental and health standards.
- Responsible for timely inventory updates.
- Ensuring proper implementation of the FIFO method, and cycle counting.
- Ensuring the accuracy of inventory.
- Responsible for the overall warehouse inventory accuracy and annual stock take and integrity.
- Lead the investigation to minimize variances and come up with an improvement plan.
- Reporting of damages/defects/shortages of raw materials during receiving to Purchasing Dept, Technical Dept, and Operations Manager.

**Requirements**:

- At least a Diploma in Supply Chain/Logistics or any related field.
- 1 - 2 years of experience as a Warehouse Executive in the retail or manufacturing industry.
- Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, etc.
- Fluent in Bahasa Malaysia and English. **Proficient in Mandarin is a MUST as this role requires to liaise directly with the China suppliers.**:

- Fluent in Mandarin is an added advantage.
- Proficient in Xilnex, Shopify, and Navision.
