DepartmentOperations- LevelEntry Level- LocationMalaysia - Kuala LumpurThe Operation teams at Shopee covers the operational end-to-end process, from when the buyer searches for a product listed on the Shopee platform, to the moment the buyer receives the products. The team analyses and monitors operational KPIs across the region and conducts root cause analysis when operation performance fluctuates. The Operations team comprises Customer Service, Payment, Listings, Warehouse, Logistics, Seller Operations and Fraud.
- Investigate anomalies in customers' transactions and logged data throughout the customer journey.
- Detect fraudulent activities on e-commerce transactions based on data and fraud patterns.
- Involves in end to end manual investigation and fraud monitoring.
- Must be able to pinpoint potential weakness in products, systems and processes.
- Recommend feasible preventive / corrective measures for process improvement, i.e. SOP (standard operating procedures) revamp, analysis and rules implementation.

**Requirements**:

- Bachelor's degree in related field (Criminal Justice, Forensic Accounting, Cybersecurity, etc.) or equivalent work experience.
- Previous experience in ecommerce fraud investigation, risk management, or related fields.
- Proficiency in using fraud detection tools and data analysis software.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to identify patterns, anomalies, and trends.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
- Problem-solving mindset with the ability to make quick, informed decisions.
- Knowledge of relevant legal and regulatory requirements related to fraud investigation are a plus.
- Willing to work on weekend and Public Holiday (5 days a week, day off will be on rotational shift basis)
