The Long Term Maintenance Planner is primarily accountable for developing comprehensive maintenance plans for the Bitumen assets and infrastructure and ensuring long-term reliability and optimal performance of our equipment, facilities and systems.

**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to devise long-term maintenance strategies that align with the organisation's objectives and operational requirements.
- Support Terminals to establish regular inspections and assessments of equipment, facilities, and systems to identify potential issues, evaluate their condition, and determine maintenance needs.
- Develop and maintain detailed maintenance schedules, including preventive and predictive maintenance tasks, to optimize asset uptime and minimize disruptions to operations.
- Coordinate with Terminal management and maintenance teams to allocate resources efficiently, such as labor, materials, and equipment, for the execution of planned maintenance activities.
- Work closely with terminal management and finance department to create and manage budgets for long-term maintenance plans, ensuring cost-effectiveness and adherence to financial constraints.
- Analyze historical maintenance data and trends to make informed decisions on improving maintenance procedures, reducing downtime, and enhancing overall asset reliability.
- Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of maintenance planning.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, generate performance reports, and provide regular updates to management regarding the status of long-term maintenance projects.
- Ensure all maintenance activities adhere to industry regulations, safety standards, and environmental requirements.
- Develop and maintain global registers for spare parts and mobile assets. Maintain processes and procedures to track asset locations and usage at Terminals, including rebuild and replenishment scheduling.

**REQUIREMENTS**

**Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, facilities management, or a related field is preferred.
- Equivalent work experience will also be considered.

**Experience, Skills & Competencies**
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in maintenance planning, asset management, or a related role, with a track record of successfully implementing long-term maintenance strategies.
- Strong understanding of maintenance practices, equipment reliability, and predictive maintenance technologies.
- Proficiency in data analysis and the ability to draw meaningful insights from maintenance data to drive decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet deadlines without compromising quality.
- Proficient in using computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and relevant software for maintenance planning and reporting.
- Strong English language
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with diverse teams, vendors, and stakeholders.

- **External**:Contractors, Port Authority, Regulators, 3rd Party Vendors, Emergency Services

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: Up to RM9,000.00 per month
