Description

**Primary Objective**:
To ensure accurate and reliable reports to the stakeholders, (eg. The management, Directors, Investors, Holding Company) in a timely manner, in order for them to review evaluate and make strategic decisions and to submit accurate reports to regulatory bodies (eg. Bank Negara Malaysia, Bursa and Securities Commission)
**Key Responsibilities**:

- Review financial reports for RHBIB Entity and Group and related schedules to enable reporting to the Board, Senior Management and Group Finance.
- Review Regulatory Reports and related schedules for RHBHB Entity and RHBIB Group for reporting to regulators i.e. BNM, Bursa and the Securities Commission
- Liaise with regulators / external auditors
- Appointment of external auditors including audit fees
- Roll out of new accounting standards and BNM regulation in relation to financial reporting
- Participate in initiatives which require RHBIB Entity and Group level financial information e.g.
- Based prospectus for Structured Warrants
- Renewal of insurance contracts
- Review all financial reporting requirement for selected RHBIB Group subsidiaries
- Develop and enhance reporting process and mechanism to meet requirements of users/ standards
- Ensure, maintain and enforce a proper supervisory program and competent system of internal controls
- Provide coaching, guidance, motivation, support, training and feedback to team members to achieve business objective
- Display teamwork and work closely with other senior management personnel at all times.
- Any other ad-hoc request by the superiors

**Requirements**:
**Requirements**:Bachelor Degree - Finance and Accountancy.
- Any professional accounting qualification
- Knowledge of regulatory/statutory laws that relevant to Banking Institutions (BNM/ GP8), Malaysian Financial Reporting Standards, International Financial Reporting Standards and Companies Act.
- Min 5 years Finance experience in large and complex organization (public listed with group of companies)
- Preferably with external audit background and with managerial skills
- Strong analytical skills
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- High attention to detail
- Good in Microsoft Excel, Power point and Word skills
- Able to work under stress and good in time management
