As a Barista at The Nook, you will be an integral part of our beverage team, responsible for preparing and serving a variety of hot and cold drinks, including expertly brewed coffee and tea, smoothies, and other beverages. This role provides an opportunity to enhance your barista skills while contributing to an exceptional customer experience in a lively and creative environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- **Beverage Preparation**:

- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, espresso-based drinks, teas, and other beverages to customer specifications.
- Ensure the proper usage of coffee equipment and maintain consistent quality in all drinks.
- **Customer Service**:

- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring customers have a pleasant experience at The Nook.
- Greet customers, take orders, and offer recommendations based on preferences.
- **Barista Operations**:

- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the coffee station, including equipment, counters, and utensils.
- Keep track of beverage inventory and assist with restocking when necessary.
- **Team Support**:

- Collaborate with fellow team members to ensure smooth service and a positive environment.
- Assist with training new baristas, sharing tips, and fostering a team-oriented atmosphere.

**Qualifications**:

- **Experience**: Previous experience as a barista or in an F&B environment is an advantage but not mandatory.
- **Skills**: Basic knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and the use of coffee machines is an asset.
- **Customer Focus**: Friendly and approachable with excellent communication skills.
- **Physical Fitness**: Ability to stand for extended periods and handle fast-paced work environments.
- **Attitude**: Positive, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow in a dynamic setting.
