**Position Summary**:
Purchasing Executive role is to support the Purchasing Department in the day-to-day Purchasing operations and its demand that includes activities such as ordering of materials, supplies, and/or equipment, and the follow through with vendors on shipment and delivery. You are to support the Purchasing Manager through working together on the goal and the company procurement strategy, adhering to policies and procedures for purchases in support of the company’s strategic objectives.

**Scope and Responsibilities**:

- Responsible for company supply chain process which includes but is not limited to the planning of procurement, inventory control.
- Advises staff and/or requestors as to appropriate choices of standard items to be purchased.
- Selects vendors, places orders, and may arrange for service contract.
- Follows up on orders to ensure that materials are shipped and delivered on promised dates.
- Maintains records and follow up files of purchases, shipments, and related matters.
- Maintains files of descriptions of available supplies.
- May inspect products received for quality and quantity to ensure adherence to specifications.
- Compare product deliveries with issued purchase orders and contact vendors when there are discrepancies.
- Performs related job duties as required. Keep up to date with the latest product developments & technologies relating to the industry.
- Ensure the procurement system is maintained and updated accordingly and to the necessary company standards.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and establish long-term purchasing arrangements with vendors when it is beneficial to the company.

**Background and Experience**:

- At least 2 years of experience in Purchasing & Warehousing environment.
- Strong knowledge of products, sources, and network.
- Had experienced working in an environment that requires policies compliant.
- Strong planning and organizational skills, problem solving and attention to detail.

**Education**:
Minimum a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor’s Degree or Professional Degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics or equivalent.

**Additional Information**:

- Malaysian.
- Fully vaccinated (including Booster).
- Willing to work flexible hours, including evenings & weekends to support park operations.
