**A) Qualification**
i. Hold **API653**certificates and shall be kept current and valid at all times.
ii. Minimum of TWO (2) years of experience in tank inspection and
engineering in oil and gas related activities including offshore/onshore site
experience starting from first **API653**certificate is obtained
iii. Prefer Sabahan
iv. Have a valid T-Bosiet & Offshore Medical
B) Attributes
- Professional qualifications and additional skills mentioned below would be an_
- additional advantage although not mandatory:_
i. ASNT/PCN Level II certification or equivalent;
ii. Competent in analysis, design, and inspection of onshore and offshore
pressure vessel;
iii. Able to carry out an independent assessment of the condition of vessels at
onshore crude oil terminals, onshore gas terminals and offshore platform and
jackets;
iv. Competent with the latest Inspection / NDT techniques e.g. A/B/C-Scan, ,
Twin Probes/Tandem UT Techniques, ACFM, TOFD, Flash Radiography, Eddy
Current, etc.;
v. Have a sound knowledge of International Standards and codes relating to oil
and gas industry, structure, pipelines, pressure vessels and process facilities
e.g. ASME, AWS, API, ASTM, SSPC, BGAS, and NACE standard specifications
and statutory body (DOSH) related to corrosion control and monitoring
activities.
vi. Possess computer literacy such as Microsoft Office
vii. Possess knowledge in Fitness for Service (FFS).
viii. Preferably possess certificate and have completed recognized formal training
in inspection data management system familiar with Risk Based Inspection
methodology and software
ix. Have demonstrated competence in technical report writing, technical
presentation and the ability to perform work with a high degree of initiative.
x. Good command in both written and spoken languages i.e. Malay and English.
xi. Be able to review, comment and approve inspection reports prepared by
inspectors.
xii. Be able to review, comment and approve welding procedures (WPS).
xiii. Be able to review inspection procedures submitted by contractors and
prepare in-house inspection procedures.
**Job Type**: Freelance
Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM3,900.00 per month
Schedule:
- Fixed shift
- Monday to Friday
Supplemental Pay:
- Overtime pay

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
