Scaffolder Erector/inspector

**Job Description (JD)**

**1. Planning & Preparation**
- Review scaffold design drawings and specifications before erection.
- Ensure scaffolding materials and equipment are available, inspected, and compliant with safety standards.
- Plan scaffold erection and dismantling sequence safely and efficiently.

**2. Erection & Inspection**
- Supervise and participate in the erection, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.
- Conduct inspections during and after erection to ensure compliance with statutory requirements (e.g., DOSH, CIDB).
- Verify scaffolding stability, load capacity, and safe access for workers.

**3. Safety & Compliance**
- Ensure scaffolding works follow company HSE procedures and international standards.
- Report and rectify unsafe conditions or practices immediately.
- Maintain records of inspections, handover certificates, and permits.

**4. Team Coordination & Support**
- Lead and guide scaffolding crew in daily activities.
- Coordinate with site supervisors, engineers, and QAQC teams for smooth workflow.
- Provide technical advice and corrective actions when required.

**5. Ad Hoc Duties**
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management related to scaffolding or site safety.

**Requirements**:

- Minimum **Scaffolder Level 3 certification** (CIDB/DOSH or equivalent).
- At least **3-5 years of experience** in scaffolding erection and inspection for industrial/construction projects.
- Strong knowledge of scaffolding codes, standards, and best practices.
- Physically fit to handle scaffolding activities.
- Good communication skills and ability to work in a team.

**Special Aspects**
- Must have up-to-date scaffolding safety passport/green book (if required).
- Strong emphasis on **safety-first mindset** and adherence to HSE requirements.
- Ability to lead a team and ensure scaffolding works are delivered **safely, on time, and up to standard**.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Contract
Contract length: 12 months
