**Reports To**: CAD Head of Department, CAD Assistant Department Leader and Senior CAD Draughtsperson

The Entry-Level CAD Draughtsperson (with certificate or diploma) responsible for assisting in the creation, modification, and maintenance of detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models for tire mold components. This role requires the use of CAD software to produce precise technical drawings that adhere to design specifications and manufacturing standards. The CAD Draughtsperson collaborates with engineers, designers, and other team members to ensure the accuracy and quality of all designs.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- **CAD Drafting**: Create and modify detailed 2D and 3D CAD drawings and models based on customer’s design specifications and instructions
- **Documentation**: Prepare and organize technical documentation, including drawings and design specifications. Maintain accurate records of design changes and revisions.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely and communicate effectively with engineers and team members to understand project requirements and manufacturing constraints.
- **Quality Assurance**: Perform quality checks on CAD drawings and models to ensure they meet design standards and tolerances. Identify and report discrepancies or issues for resolution.
- **Troubleshooting and Support**: Provide technical support to engineers, designers and shopfloor personnel during the manufacturing processes
- **Learning and Development**: Continuously develop proficiency in CAD software and design techniques.
- **Adherence to Procedures**: Adhere to company policies, procedures, and best practices related to CAD drafting and design. Follow safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

**Requirements**:

- Work location in Chan Sow Lin area, Kuala Lumpur
- 6 day work week: Monday to Saturday 8.00AM - 5.00PM

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: Certificate or diploma in CAD, drafting, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- **Experience**: No prior experience required; internships or coursework in CAD drafting are beneficial.
- **Skills**:

- Proficiency in AutoCAD software is beneficial
- Exposure to other CAD/CAM software (e.g., Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks, MasterCAM or similar).
- Basic understanding of engineering principles and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Fresh graduate

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM2,400.00 per month
