**Position overview**:
Are you ready to be at the forefront of digital innovation in allnex? As a **Corporate Digital Trainee in our 18-month trainee program** at allnex, you will play an important role in our digital transformation journey. You will start in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, and continue working at other allnex locations in Asia.

Join our Global Data Analytics and AI Team and gain a comprehensive insight into the chemical industry. As part of this dynamic team, you’ll collaborate on designing and implementing our digital roadmap at allnex. Your focus areas will span Data Analytics, Process Skills, and IOT/Industry 4.0

This program is tailored to provide you with hands-on experience and a deep understanding of the digitalization aspects within a manufacturing environment and beyond. You will work as part of a global team of digitalization experts to implement advanced technologies around digitization and automation to optimize our processes and drive productivity gains.

**Responsibilities**:

- You will gain a comprehensive insight into the chemical industry and work with us to design and implement our digital roadmap in a production environment and beyond.
- As part of our Global Digitization Team, you will work independently on diverse projects and key challenges in the broad field of digitization (e.g. analytics based decision making, AI, optimization/operational excellence, data analysis, industry 4.0).
- You will be supported on your learning journey by a mentor and you will be closely connected with colleagues and stakeholders from different functions, locations and cultures.
- Manage projects within and across our sites as well as the change process that innovative, digital projects require.
- This role is based in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia, project assignments that involve working at other allnex locations in Asia are part of the Corporate Trainee program.

**Required skills and experience**:

- Excellent knowledge of written and spoken English.
- A real team player with very good communication skills.
- A digital and entrepreneurial mindset combined with a hands-on mentality and passion to optimize processes.
- Understand the value and challenges with data - 80% of the work in a project is data collection, preparation, sanitation, aggregation, etc.
- Fundamental data analytical skills.
- Affinity with Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning.
- Dynamic, innovative and results driven personality.
- Outspoken and entrepreneurial way of working.
- Analytical thinking, strong problem solving skills and high sense of responsibility.
- Eager to learn.

**Qualifications**:

- Master Degree in Computer/Data Science, or Computer Engineering.
