Key Responsibilities- Ensure amended and enhanced systems meet user functional requirement specifications.- Ensure that all documentation, processes and methodologies used in the various phases of system development and implementation are in accordance with the Bank’s standards.- Ensure proper documentation of all development to facilitate future maintenance and enhancements. Employs the risk assessment methodology issued by the Information Security Department to ensure proper controls are build as required by the business- - Provide expert advice for best solution to production problems- Liaise with users to define systems requirements- Liaise with vendor to define technical requirements- Provide options/alternatives available to address Users Business Requirements and recommendation on software solution- Provide support during implementation of software and systems. Liaise with other Departments within division for smooth deployment of Application Software.- Prioritization and assignment of tasks for development and implementation- Evaluation and acquisition of tools, utilities, hardware (including upgrades) and software- Decision on the Technical Approach to be used to address systems’ enhancements- - Technology platform assessment inclusive of stress test benchmarking Jobholder Requirements: Degree in Computer Science & Information Technology Experience- more than 3 years of experience in software development in financial environmentExperience with databases like IBMDB2 or Oracle Special Skills- - Excellent knowledge of Relational Databases, SQL and ORM technologies- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.- In depth understanding of framework design and architecture- Ability to articulate issue & capable of providing long term solution with short term mitigation plan- Unix scripting -Advanced (>4)- AIX / Unix Administration -Advanced (>4)- J2EE/ Web services, JavaScript-Advanced (>4)- IBM WebSphere Application Server-intermediate (>3)- HTML5 -Advanced (>4)- DB2 /Oracle - intermediate- Analytical Skill- Proven track record in enterprise solution delivery- Operating System Software /Tools Environment familiarity: Unix (AIX), Eclipse, VMWare - About Hong Leong Bank_ - We are a leading financial institution in Malaysia backed by a century of entrepreneurial heritage.
