**Job Title: Junior Account Executive**
**Job Overview**:
The Junior Account Executive will assist in handling day-to-day accounting operations, maintaining accurate financial records, and supporting month-end closing activities. This role is suitable for someone detail-oriented, eager to learn, and looking to grow in the field of accounting.
**Job Scope / Responsibilities**:
**Assist in Full Set of Accounts**
- Help in the preparation of financial statements, including balance sheets, profit and loss statements, and cash flow reports.
- Assist with month-end and year-end closing activities
**Data Entry & Documentation**
- Input daily financial transactions into accounting software accurately.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of invoices, payment vouchers, and receipts.
**Accounts Payable & Receivable**
- Monitor and manage accounts receivable collections and follow-ups.
- Process payments to vendors and handle staff claims and reimbursements.
**Bank Reconciliation**
- Perform monthly bank reconciliations and resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
**Support Audit & Tax Filing**
- Prepare supporting documents for auditors and tax agents.
- Assist in annual tax filing, SST submissions, and compliance with statutory requirements.
**Administrative Support**
- Provide general administrative and clerical support to the accounting department.
- Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g. suppliers, banks, auditors).
**Other Ad-hoc Duties**
- Carry out other accounting-related tasks as assigned by superior or management.
**Job Requirements**:
- Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 1-2 years of relevant experience is an advantage
- Basic knowledge of accounting principles and software - AutoCount
- Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and time management skills
- Good communication skills and a positive working attitude
- Able to work independently and as part of a team
- Willing to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
**Working Hours**: Monday to Friday (9am-6pm)
**Location**: 80, Jalan Puteri 5/1, Bandar Puteri, 47100 Puchong, Selangor
