We are seeking a skilled and experienced Remote Hotel / Homestay Operations Coordinator to join our growing Merveille Estate and Hospitality Management Sdn Bhd' team in Penang. This is a full-time position that offers the opportunity to work remotely, providing you with the flexibility to manage your workload and balance your professional and personal commitments.
- Manage the day-to-day operations of our hotel and homestay properties, ensuring seamless guest experiences
- Coordinate reservations, bookings, and guest enquiries in a timely and efficient manner
- Liaise with property owners, suppliers, and third-party service providers to address any issues or requirements
- Monitor inventory, occupancy rates, and other key performance indicators to identify opportunities for improvement
- Provide support and guidance to our on-site teams, ensuring they have the resources and information they need to deliver exceptional customer service
- Assist with the development and implementation of operational policies, procedures, and best practices
- Contribute to the overall growth and success of our hospitality business

What we're looking for
- Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with guests, property owners, and various stakeholders
- Proficient in using reservation and property management systems, as well as other relevant hospitality software
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adaptable and flexible, with the ability to prioritise tasks, manage multiple projects, and work under pressure
- Knowledge of local and industry regulations, as well as best practices in hotel/homestay operations
- Task & Time Management-Prioritizing daily activities and reminders,Tracking deadlines and following up on pending items
- Liaison & Communication
- Acting as a point of contact between the employer and others, Coordinating with vendors, clients, or staff & Handling confidential or sensitive information professionally
- Managing social media or online presence
- Basic bookkeeping or invoicing, Organizing business documents or databases, Preparing materials for meetings or presentations
