Nurse / Medical Assistant (Locum)

We are looking for Registered Staff Nurses and Medical Assistants in Melaka with big hearts, dedication, and commitment to join our fast-growing team of Homage Care Professionals. As a Care Professional, your role may span a wide range of activities depending on the specific needs of each family. A significant portion of the Care Professional’s role is in providing assistance with daily living, such as medication reminders, meal preparation, bathing, personal care, and companionship to keep the senior engaged and happy. Your role can also include simple nursing care, including NG tube feeding, urinary bag change, etc. Each care assignment is a chance to make a real difference in someone’s life when they need it the most. **REQUIREMENTS**:

- Diploma in Nursing or equivalent
- Registration with Lembaga Jururawat Malaysia (LJM) or Diploma in Medical Assistant and registered under Lembaga Pembantu Perubatan (LPP)
- Valid Annual Practicing Certificate (APC) Or Retention Of Name (RON)
- Passion to deliver holistic care to care, recipients, and families,
- Good interpersonal skills
- Able to work independently
- Comfortable working with adults and seniors, including persons with disability

**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
As a Homage Care Professional, you are always ready to provide the following services to seniors with warmth, tact, and professionalism:
Assistance with Activities of Daily Living:

- Perform Vital Signs assessment
- Assist in Oral Medication and Administration
- Provide Companionship and Facilitating Recreational Activities
- Do Grocery Shopping & Meal Preparation
- Perform Light Housekeeping for Seniors
- Supervise Physical Exercises and Activities
- Accompany Medical Appointments
- Provide Personal Hygiene Care (Showering / Bed Bath)
- Undertake Night Caregiving
- Perform Check-in Visits
- Help with Personal Grooming (Hair Cut)

Simple Nursing Care:

- Perform Oral/Tracheostomy suctioning
- Assist with Urine & Stoma Drainage/Change
- Simple Wound Dressing
- Assist with Blood Glucose Check
- Assist in Oral/NG tube Medication and Administration
- Application of Urosheath

Professional Care Conduct:
