CNC Programmer

Reading and interpreting engineering drawings.
- Setting materials into the CNC machine.
- Model product design into the computer modelling software.
- Choosing and loading the correct cutting tools for the job.
- Adjusting machine settings to the correct machining specifications.
- Troubleshooting issues during the manufacturing process.
- Maintaining the quality control during the machining stage and till the final product.
- Cleaning and maintaining the machine.
- Training new staff on machine operation procedures.
- Develop CNC programs for production runs.
- Analyse drawings, technical blueprints and design models to determine dimensions control and to choose cutting tools, spindle speed and feed rates
- Modify existing programs for different machines.

**Requirements**:

- Diploma/Certificate from mechanical engineering or any related fields.
- Previous work experience as a CNC programmer is an added advantage.
- Ability to read and interpret design blueprints.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to work shifts when required.
- Experience programming 3 axis CNC mills
- Familiarity with Mastercam is an added advantage

**Salary**: From RM2,500.00 per month
