Create lesson plans for each class based on your experience and the students’ specific needs - Introduce interactive activities into the classroom and encourage students to vocalize their concerns and questions - Communicate with other team members as well as with parents about students’ progress and behaviour - Join the rotation of teachers who assist with start-of-day and end-of-day student care procedures - Encourage creativity in students by organizing art and craft projects on a daily basis - Establish and enforce rules for behaviour, and policies and procedures to maintain order among students. - Create a fun and inspiring atmosphere in the classroom - Welcoming students from the moment they first arrive at kindergarten door until the end of the school journey - Engage with Teachers, Principal and Management in the development, evaluation, and revision of kindergarten programs. - Attend staff meetings, and serve on committees as required - Attend teacher training and workshops in order to maintain and improve professional competence - Report and receive instructions from management or any person as instructed by the management from time to time - Oversee and handling food preparation for students - Monitoring the cleanliness and hygiene of the kindergarten - Participate and contribute any events organize to ensure initiatives are being met
