**JOB SCOPE : PARKING ATTENDANT**
- **Position Overview**:_

A Parking Attendant is responsible for overseeing the parking facilities, ensuring the safety and security of vehicles, and providing excellent customer service to patrons. This role involves managing parking spaces, directing traffic, and assisting customers with parking-related inquiries.
- **Key Responsibilities**:_
- **1. **Traffic Management**:_
- Direct vehicles to available parking spaces efficiently.
- Monitor and control the flow of traffic in and out of the parking area.
- **2. **Customer Service**:_
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with parking needs.
- Provide information about parking policies, rates, and local attractions.
- **3. **Monitoring and Security**:_
- Keep an eye on parked vehicles to prevent theft or damage.
- Report any suspicious activities or incidents to the appropriate authorities.
- **4. **Payment Processing**:_
- Collect parking fees and issue receipts.
- Handle cash and process credit/debit card transactions accurately.
- **5. **Maintenance**:_
- Ensure the parking area is clean and organised.
- Report maintenance issues, such as broken signage or lighting, to management.
- **6. **Record Keeping**:_
- Maintain accurate records of parking occupancy and transactions.
- Assist in preparing reports as required by management.
- **7. **Compliance**:_
- Enforce parking regulations to ensure compliance with local laws and facility policies.
- Issue citations for violations as necessary.
- **Qualifications**:_
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills for handling payments.
- **Physical Requirements**:_
- Ability to stand for extended periods and walk long distances.
- May require lifting or moving objects up to a certain weight.
- **Working Conditions**:_
- Outdoor / Indoor work in various weather conditions.
- May require evening, weekend, or holiday shifts.

Pay: RM1,700.00 - RM2,000.00 per month
