Medical Interpreter

Job Description:

- Assist with translation and interpreting job for the clinic
- Provide interpreting services for all Japanese patients, and other individuals during their visit to the clinic
- Assist Japanese patients to communicate efficiently with clinic staff on general affairs
- Prepare written translations of clinic materials, correspondence, and forms from Japanese to English or English to Japanese when appropriate for use by the management team and other staff
- Translate manuals, publications, patient materials, informational brochures and any other written

materials issued by hospitals and medical facilities from Japanese to English or vice versa
- Coordinate and manage communication between patients and staff/doctors and follow up to

ensure complete service satisfaction
- Assist staff with language and culture
- Assist with translations and interpretations as required Japanese Co-ordinator
- Coordinate with the clinic’s Japanese patients in all aspects of tasks (i.e. inquiries, patients’ visits etc.)
- Co-ordinate to provide interpreting services for all Japanese patients, and other individuals during their visit to

the clinic
- Assist Japanese patients to communicate efficiently with clinic staff on general affairs
- Participate in executive meeting, workshops, program activities as requested by Management

Team
- Ensure and provide flawless, upscale, professional and high-class Japanese service

experiences to patients of the clinic
- Analyse customer feedback and provide strategic direction to continuously improve overall rating
- Respond to patients’ needs; expect and react promptly to patients’ requirements and inquires
- Coordinate and manage communication between patients and staff/doctors and follow up to ensure complete service satisfaction
- Communicate Japanese cultural aspects to patients.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM5,000.00 - RM5,900.00 per month

- Diploma/Advanced Diploma (preferred)
