Printing Technician

**Job Summary**

The Printing Technician will operate and maintain printing equipment used in the production of plastic packaging. This role involves setting up machines, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the quality of printed products meets company standards.

Key Responsibilities
- **Machine Setup and Operation**: Set up and operate printing machines for various plastic packaging products, ensuring proper configuration for different jobs.
- **Quality Control**: Monitor the printing process to ensure high-quality output, performing regular inspections and adjustments as necessary.
- **Troubleshooting**: Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions and printing issues promptly to minimize downtime.
- **Maintenance**: Perform routine maintenance on printing equipment, including cleaning and replacing parts as needed.
- **Collaboration**: Work closely with design and production teams to ensure that printed materials meet specifications and deadlines.
- **Documentation**: Maintain accurate records of production runs, including quantities, materials used, and issues encountered.
- **Safety Compliance**: Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

**Qualifications**:

- **Education**: High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in printing or related field preferred.
- **Experience**: Previous experience in printing, especially with plastic packaging, is highly desirable.
- **Skills**:

- Proficient in operating printing machines and equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and quality assurance skills.
- Problem-solving skills to troubleshoot equipment and printing issues.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet production deadlines.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy materials and stand for extended periods.
- Good vision for detailed work, including color differentiation.

Work Environment

The Printing Technician will work in a manufacturing setting, often in a team-oriented environment, with exposure to various printing inks and materials.
