**Role Overview**:

This is an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Teacher of Chemistry to join our growing team. The main responsibilities of the post will include:

- teaching Chemistry at GCSE and A Level;
- teaching lower secondary science;
- assisting with science activities as required;
- assisting with the administration of the department;
- working as part of a cohesive departmental team and sharing fully in the work of the department;
- helping to promote and encourage the study of science at RGSKL.

**Qualifications**:

Essential:

- A UK or Internationally recognised teaching qualification (e.g., PGCE, QTS, or equivalent).
- A bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or a related field.

**Experience**:

Essential:

- Experience working in a British Secondary School, British International Secondary or with the British curriculum.

**Skills, Abilities & Knowledge**:

- Effective classroom management with an ability to manage the class and resources effectively to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Good verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage and inspire students, as well as collaborate with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
- Competence in assessing student progress, using data to inform teaching, and providing constructive feedback to support individual learning needs.
- Flexibility to adapt teaching methods to different learning styles
